Andrew K. Arnett is the author of a 5000 word article on Aleister Crowley, magick and aliens published in the German printed edition of NEXUS MAGAZINE #77.
Crowley and the Modern Wave of UFO Sightings
Almost exactly 100 years ago, the occultist and notorious troublemaker Aleister Crowley performed a sexual magic ritual in which he allegedly opened a transdimensional portal. Through this portal, he claimed to have made contact with an extraterrestrial named Lam, who bore a striking resemblance to the Greys, who only began making headlines in later years. In 1946, another ritual, modeled on Crowley’s original, was performed, this time by Jack Parsons and L. Ron Hubbard. Here, too, a dimensional portal was said to have been opened. Is it mere coincidence that the modern wave of UFO sightings began exactly one year later?

Andrew K. Arnett appears on the iconic Coast To Coast AM radio show. With host Richard Syrett, Andrew discusses the ‘Paul is Dead’ conspiracy, delving into the secret influence of Aleister Crowley on The Beatles.
Paul is Dead’ Conspiracy
In the first hour, conspiracy researcher Andrew Arnett talked about the 50th anniversary of the ‘Paul is Dead’ conspiracy, and Aleister Crowley’s connection to the story and influence on The Beatles’ music (Related Article). According to the theory, Paul McCartney was killed in a car crash on September 11, 1966, and replaced with a double. Clues were left behind in Beatles’ songs and album artwork, especially Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. “The [Sgt. Pepper’s] album cover undoubtedly presents a funeral ceremony,” he said, noting several details which point to Paul. Arnett revealed how folding the album cover in half places Crowley’s face above everyone else’s as a nod to the impact his teachings had on The Beatles. The band’s name may have come from a book by Crowley, he added. Arnett suggested Paul’s death was symbolic and linked it to Egyptian mystery school initiate rites promoted by Crowley. “The ‘Paul is Dead’ concept is real in the sense it was perpetrated by The Beatles but not necessarily that there are two Paul McCartneys,” he explained.

Andrew K. Arnett appears on this fascinating three hour long interview with host Matt Sergiou (ConspiroTV) on the subject of “The Beatles, Ancient Egypt, Crowley and ‘Paul is Dead.'”
This is a ‘YouTube’ presentation about occult aspects of The Beatles (whether alleged or not, confirmed or not) for your ears and eyes.
Hosted by me (Matt Sergiou, the proprietor of the site ‘The Occult Beatles’), it’s presented in the form of a conversation that I recorded in January 2022 between myself and Andrew Arnett, a researcher, writer, musician and lifelong Beatles fan. He first came to my attention last year when I stumbled across an article he’d published in 2019 as well as a couple of radio-show guest-spots in which he shared his rather – I think – unique perspective on P.i.D. (or in other words, ‘Paul is Dead’ of course), linking it to Aleister Crowley and the symbology and rites of ancient Egypt. The Egyptian element is an avenue I’ve explored myself with regards to the band and, in particular, a couple of its members, in previous posts either at The Occult Beatles or at my partner sites ‘Conspiro Media’ and here at ‘ConspiroTV.’ If you choose to take a look and a listen to my conversation with Andrew, you’ll in fact hear the two of us ‘swapping notes’ as it were, or in other words, sharing information that the two of us have discovered independently of each other with regards to The Beatles and their links (whether alleged/confirmed or not) to not only ancient Egypt but also Crowley and P.i.D.
During my lengthy chat with Andrew, you can hear him put forward an idea that connects ‘Paul is Dead’ to initiations and beliefs of ancient Egypt including solar worship and symbolism and also, in particular, to birth, dying and rebirth and through this, in our conversation, he regularly refers back to Osiris, who in Egyptian mythology, is God of death, and who was killed but was brought back to life. You’ll also hear a lot of mention during our discussion to the scarab beetle, it was a highly revered insect all those thousands of years ago because, Andrew explains, it lays the eggs of its young inside dung that it has rolled into a ball, and so, from apparently dead waste-matter new life is brought forth… Regeneration.
Did the Beatles name themselves – whether consciously or not – ‘The Beatles’ after the beetle as according to and/or in homage to – in honour of – ancient Egyptian beliefs? It’s a question and an avenue I’ve explored before as you may know if you’ve been a visitor to my sites, and it’s talked about during my conversation with Andrew.

Loved this! Such a good idea. Especially with micro-dosing so ubiquitous in mental health work now, I feel it’s a celebration of the value of this, rather than denegrating it. I also love the work chosen, really strong writers and a lovely conceptualization in layout and formatting. Alien Buddha is one of my favorite publishers of modern poetry they’re original.

Charming, diverse, exhilarating tidbits, a who’s who of sorts spanning the short form poetry world in one place writing extraordinary things. Restful, restorative, energizing reading a person has difficulty putting down, is certain to revisit. Artfully selected and well edited with handsome layout, cover, typesetting. An ambitious project executed to absolute perfection. I wish there were more anthologies with this gonzo spirit in existence. This collection is highly worth owning and admiring.

5.0 out of 5 stars Something for everyone…horror version.
Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2022

To be fair, I might be a little biased. I have a short story in this anthology. Having said that, there are so many other solid pieces in here, that I feel I can say I fully enjoyed this book. And, if you like horror, there’s a little something for everyone.
Some of my favorites:
The spiritual confusion and old testament horror in “Rebuke” by Chris Courtney Martin.
The surreal bad trip full of blood in “Demons Possessed By Me” by Robert Ragan.
The trauma of pain and loss in “Where Snapdragons Grow” by Megan Lovato-Harris
The mother and child and imaginary friend horror in “No Mommies Allowed” by Olivia Loccisano.
The piece range from short poetry taking up a half a page to 20 page short stories. You will absolutely not be disappointed with this book!

Andrew K. Arnett is the author of five poems published in the anthology The Alien Buddha Skips The Party: Part 2 published by Alien Buddha Press.
Publication date : September 26, 2022
Themes of introversion, introspection and isolation predominate.
Editor’s Reflection
We introverts spend a significant portion of our lives being told to “put ourselves out there more” or to “stop hiding.” Many rarely realize that our love of seclusion is a “personality style characterized by [our] preference for the inner life of the mind over the outer world of other people” (Psychology Today). It’s not to say we never enjoy the outer world with other people, we’ve just learned to appreciate the solace we find in the inner world. Oftentimes, that inner space is a place of meditative reflection, a location of pivotal escape, or a vantage point for us to view the human condition macrocosmically. Some would argue that our greatest journey as introverts requires us to free ourselves from the shame imposed on us throughout our lives. We don’t need to show up to a party to make ourselves heard. We don’t need to stand in the middle of a metropolis to make a statement. We don’t need to host soirees to entertain. We speak through our art and in these introverted worlds we weave, our whispers speak louder than shouts.
