An X post by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna this morning (September 29) caught my attention. The post simply featured an old religious painting with no comment. Grok gave me an assist and revealed that the image depicts an Eastern Orthodox icon of archangels, including Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel. The painting dates back to the 6th century and reflects their roles as warriors and divine messengers, as affirmed by the Council of Laodicea (343-381 CE).
Was this a nod to Luna’s religious beliefs, as she is a practicing Messianic Jewish Christian? Perhaps. Today happens to coincide with the Feast of the Archangels in some Christian traditions.
Still, I couldn’t help wondering if the post wasn’t alluding to another discussion near and dear to the congresswoman’s heart, that is, UAP disclosure. After all, she does lead the House Oversight Task Force in charge of declassification of federal secrets. Earlier this month, Luna chaired the congressional hearing on “UAP transparency and whistleblower protection.”
Luna has said that the government has recovered technology that can operate outside our understanding of physics, rivaling anything we are capable of technologically. Certain contractors have back-engineered this tech, resulting in the advancements we have seen in our society. Its origins, she claims, comes from “interdimensional beings,” operating outside the time space continuum of our universe.
She bases her claims on classified documents and photos she has seen. As well, there are historical records dating back to and before the time of Christ asserting this as truth. She notes the Bible and books removed from the Bible, like the Book of Enoch, as being repositories of said evidence.
All this harkens back to Meade Layne, a researcher in the early days of ufology. Layne proposed an interdimensional hypothesis to the flying saucer problem. He speculated that UFOs came from a parallel dimension called Etheria and these “ether ships” were invisible to the human eye, except when atomic motion was slowed down. Interestingly, he said that these ether ships could malfunction and become stranded in our physical universe. As a result, various governments have been able to seize these ships and study them, as well as back-engineer their tech.
Layne was the founder of the Borderland Sciences Research Associates and began publishing a mimeographed newsletter titled “Round Robin” in February 1945. In 1946, he achieved national notoriety when a wire service ran a story featuring Layne and his claims that a medium was in telepathic communication with space beings aboard a UFO. The following year, during the great UFO flap of 1947, he again was brought into the spotlight for his theories on the flying disc craze.

Layne asserted that the Etherians were deeply involved in earth’s development, and have inspired many of humanities religions and myths. Despite all this, the space beings were mortal, though far advanced in spiritual and technological knowledge. Ultimately, their motive was benevolent, wanting to reveal their wisdom to mankind. For this purpose, they would contact humans with a high level of psychic abilities, with whom they would contact telepathically. Layne wrote a number of interesting books on the subject, including “The Ether Ship Mystery And Its Solution,” and “The Coming of The Guardians.”
